Job Type: Full-time – 40 hours per week

Salary: $17.85 per hour

Olivier’s La Boulangerie is a French Artisan Bakery in BC, located in Lower Mainland. Our team of Bakers, Packers, Sales, and Logistics work around the clock to produce and distribute bread and pastries without any chemical preservatives, GMO grain or high gluten elements to the entire lower mainland.

Job Overview

The Slicer & Packer is responsible for slicing bread, packing baked goods, and ensuring all items meet our quality and presentation standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including working in cold storage and freezer areas as part of the packaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate bread slicing machines safely and efficiently.
Slice and package bread and baked goods according to Food & Safety Standards.
Label and wrap products for retail and wholesale distribution.
Ensure all packaged goods are fresh, properly sealed, and visually appealing.
Work in the freezer and cold storage areas to retrieve, store, and pack frozen products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the slicing and packaging areas.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with inventory and stock rotation as needed.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Comfortable lifting up to 18 kg and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to work in cold environments, including freezer storage (protective gear provided).
Team player with good communication skills.
Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon/evening shifts (ending approximately between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm), as well as weekends and holidays.
