About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare quality meals for our hotel breakfast service, banquets, and special events, upholding the cleanliness and food safety standards expected at our three-diamond property. Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and portioning standards for all meal periods
- Execute hot breakfast service consistently and efficiently each morning
- Assist with banquet and catering food preparation as directed
- Conduct daily mise en place — prepping, cutting, and organizing ingredients before service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen station throughout every shift
- Follow proper food safety practices including temperature monitoring, FIFO rotation, and correct storage
- Assist with receiving deliveries, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing food waste
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Support team members across stations during busy periods
- Adhere to all hotel standards, health & safety policies, and kitchen procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen
- Current Food Handler / Safe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and stay organized during peak service
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
