The Preconceived Ideas Court of Entrepreneurship | Le Café des affaires

Entrepreneurship: Debunking Myths | Business Workshop and Networking

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the demands of the business world? Entrepreneurship requires navigating countless advice, miracle methods, and often contradictory rules. However, to move forward with clarity, perform sustainably, and preserve your mental health, it is essential to know how to distinguish solid fundamentals from toxic received ideas that hinder your growth or drain your energy. Come and sort it out with us!

⚖️ The Court of Received Ideas: Debunking Myths to Better Entrepreneur

During this essential meeting in the heart of Vancouver, we will put the most common and sometimes harmful entrepreneurial assertions on “trial”.

  • Do you really need to work 70 hours a week to be taken seriously?
  • Does the customer always have the right?
  • Do you need to sacrifice your work-life balance to achieve success?

Around excellent coffee and a good breakfast, we will challenge your certainties to allow you to approach the summer with a new, refreshed, and strategic perspective on your activity. This convivial networking moment is designed to encourage constructive debates and exchanges between peers in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, typical of our beautiful francophone community.

✅ Here’s what you’ll get out of it:

  • In-depth analysis and collective examination of established “truths” (time management, online presence, customer relationships)
  • Break the isolation thanks to the constructive confrontation of points of view to realize that your daily challenges are shared by your peers
  • Identify and learn to eliminate unnecessary pressures and toxic demands to retain only good practices adapted to your field reality
  • Strengthen your business network with authentic connections with other key players in local entrepreneurship
  • Leave with a new strategic perspective to prepare for a brilliant return in September
