The mechanics

How Does Speed-Jobbing Work?

For Candidates

Confirmation of Participation:

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation of participation for the recruitment event.

Individual Scheduling:

24 hours before the event starts, you will receive an individual schedule with your interviews times.

Round Details:

You will have access to detailed information for each round, including the name and contact details of the employers you will meet.

Access to Virtual Booths:

When it's time for your interview, you will access the employer's virtual booth.

Round Duration:

Each round will last 12 minutes, giving you enough time to present your skills and discuss opportunities with the employer. You will then have 3 minutes to move to the next booth.

For Recruiters

Confirmation of Participation:

Once registered, you will be invited to submit your job offer and customize your online booth. Technical support is provided before and during the event to assist you.

Candidates Profile Details:

24 hours before the event starts, you will receive a detailed schedule of your interviews along with the detailled profile of the candidates you will meet.

Continuous Access:

Stay in your virtual booth throughout the event; candidates will come to meet you at each new round.

Interview Duration:

Each round will last for 12 minutes, giving you valuable time to evaluate candidates and discuss opportunities. Transition time between each interview is 3 minutes.

Flexibility in Questions:

There are no predefined questions, allowing you to conduct interviews according to your needs and selection criteria.

Employer FAQs

No. There is a $100 fee per company.

You can have two recruiters to conduct up to two interviews simultaneously.

Everything is designed to make your participation as simple and effective as possible! The whole process is done entirely online, from registration to interviews. You will receive technical training on the platform and comprehensive support throughout the preparation process.

Candidate FAQs

To be eligible as a candidate for virtual Speed-Jobbing, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada (work permit, permanent residency, Canadian citizenship)
  • Be a qualified worker (NOC category 0, A, or B)
  • Be proficient in both English and French (this does not mean the job must require to perform tasks in French, it’s just an asset!)

A $10 deposit will be required to reserve your spot and will be refunded either after your participation or if we can’t go ahead with your application.
