About the Femmes d’Affaires en Mouvement (FAM) Group
The Femmes d’Affaires en Mouvement (FAM) group, founded by the SDECB in 2002, is a dynamic community that addresses francophone and bilingual women entrepreneurs in British Columbia. Its objective is to support women entrepreneurs in achieving their ambitions and to help them overcome common challenges such as access to financing, markets, discrimination, and the balance between professional and personal life.
Through monthly meetings, FAM offers a privileged setting to exchange with other businesswomen and participate in workshops led by experts on essential topics such as financial management, marketing, communication, and time management. These meetings allow for the development of key skills while promoting networking and mutual support to encourage perseverance and success in the business world.
