Did you know that according to the 2024 report on female entrepreneurship in Canada, 75% of women fund their own business launch? From passion, they launch into entrepreneurship on their own means, as only 14% would resort to commercial loans. However, access to financing is crucial to realizing an idea or developing a business. Moreover, 37% of women admit to having encountered difficulties in obtaining financing at the beginning of their journey. This month, in our FAM meeting, our guest, a finance expert at TD Bank, will share her advice on how to access financing as a female entrepreneur. We will address specific challenges, practical strategies, and available financial aids, including those from TD Women.
Why participate?
- To discover available government financing and strategies supporting women entrepreneurs.
- To prepare to submit a financing request with practical tips and effective strategies.
- To explore private financing options and ask questions to a finance expert from one of Canada’s largest banks.
Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is for all French-speaking women entrepreneurs, regardless of their level of experience in business. Whether you’re already established or just starting your entrepreneurial journey, this workshop will allow you to develop essential skills for your personal and professional success.
